Διαδικτυακός εκφοβισμός και Παιδιά (Cyber Bullying)

Το θέμα της ασφάλειας στο διαδίκτυο απασχολεί πλέον όλο και περισσότερους γονείς!

Βασικός στόχος μας (ως γονείς, εκπαιδευτικοί, ενεργοί πολίτες) θα πρέπει να είναι η συνεχής ενημέρωση. Αντιγράφω από το σχετικό άρθρο:

• Στην χώρα μας γίνονται αρκετές προσπάθειες στις οποίες μπορούμε να προστρέξουμε για να ενημερωθούμε, με κυριότερες τις:
• η αρχή προστασίας προσωπικών δεδομένων έχει εκδώσει ένα προσεγμένο έντυπο που απευθύνεται στους νέους και έχει τίτλο: “Προσωπικά Δεδομένα και Διαδίκτυο”.
• H «Δράσης Ενημέρωσης και Επαγρύπνησης του Ελληνικού Κέντρου Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου» υπό την αιγίδα της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής: “safer internet” έχει αναπτύξει μια ενδιαφέρουσα ιστοσελίδα όπου υπάρχουν και φυλλάδια με οδηγίες που απευθύνονται τόσο στους γονείς όσο και στους μαθητές, εκπαιδευτικούς, κτλ. Από τη δράση αυτή έχει δημιουργηθεί και ο ιστοχώρος eSafetyKit για παιδιά ηλικίας 6-12 ετών.
• Το Πανελλήνιο Σχολικό Δίκτυο, έχει αναπτύξει μια ενδιαφέρουσα σχετική ιστοσελίδα όπου στην κατηγορία «υλικό» υπάρχουν χρήσιμοι οδηγοί που απευθύνονται τόσο στον μαθητή όσο και στον γονέα αλλά και τον εκπαιδευτικό!
• Η «Διεύθυνση Δίωξης Ηλεκτρονικού Εγκλήματος» της Ελληνικής Αστυνομίας, διοργανώνει ημερίδες για το θέμα ενώ έχει εκδώσει και ένα σχετικό ενημερωτικό φυλλάδιο.
• Η κίνηση safeline για καταγγελίες παράνομου περιεχομένου στο Διαδίκτυο.

TEL report: System Upgrade

A report summarising the findings of the TEL programme in the wider context of technology-enhanced learning and offering recommendations for future strategy in the area was launched on 13th June at the House of Lords to a group of policymakers, technologists and practitioners chaired by Lord Knight.
The report – a major outcome of the programme – is written by TEL director Professor Richard Noss and a team of experts in various fields of technology-enhanced learning. The report features the programme’s 12 recommendations for using technology-enhanced learning to upgrade UK education.

Thinking about teaching on an article I wrote on free sites that I use all the time in my class. Most teachers are like me; we need easy to use and FREE sites to utilize the best learning environment for our students. I have the links to the sites and examples for use in a Communication Arts classroom.
